Hard to find a lot of Sun Belt baseball coverage out there. From what I gathered most predictions and previews have us near the bottom of conference. What are the expectations this year? What would be a successful season for ULM baseball? Any insight

I was told today that we are getting new Field at Malone this year after the spring game.

This dude is 6'7" and plays in the outfield. If baseball doesn't work out so well for him I sure wouldn't mind him trying his hand at DE or TE for us.

We really need to finish 4-2 over the last 6 games. 3-3 would be okay but not ideal depending on other outcomes. I don't think we can beat either USM or the Cajuns but who knows. Maybe we can steal one especially the Thursday game against ULL. USA, Troy, and App St are huge games. We lead them a couple of game in the standings and really need to recover the previous losses to USA and Troy. stAte could be a huge game depending on how the rest of the games play out.

To be honest, I don't think any of us expected or even hoped to be able to make a post like this toward the end of the season. Therefore, regardless of what happens down the stretch.....I've been duly impressed by what this team has accomplished. Even if I express some frustrations going forward, just remember that it's in that moment and that moment only. LOL

In this case, I am asking specifically about Fant-Ewing. If it is to be gutted and rebuild, what do you want to see?
Personally, I really really really hate the round floor and always have. That's just not a basketball venue to me. I want to see fans very close to the action, not 5 feet above the floor, looking down at the action. Give the teams and media a little space but I want to see the seating moved all the way to the floor and completely encapsulating the court.
