MONROE, La. – ULM Athletics Director John Hartwell announced Tuesday, March 7 that Brooks Donald Williams will step down from her position as head women’s basketball coach, effective immediately. A national search will begin immediately to replace Williams.

“I want to thank Brooks Donald Williams for leading our women’s basketball program over the last four seasons,” Hartwell said.

“ULM has a rich tradition in women’s basketball, and we are committed to building on that history. Our search will focus on finding an energetic, program-building coach that can lead our Warhawks to competing for Sun Belt Conference Championships.”

Surely Hartwell comes in and moves on after that disastrous ending to the season. You can’t keep stacking up 20+ loss seasons and keep getting extensions. Hoping he has a new coach lined up.

Down 10-2 and counting in the bottom of the 4th. A 3-6 team is about to sweep us and we were competitive in only the 1st game of the series.

The ULM women’s basketball team ended it season with a loss to Arkansas State 76-65.

What are the main questions you have for the football team going into Spring ball? For me, my biggest two questions are: 1. Are we truly set at QB; and 2. Has the defense adjusted to the losses of production from last season?

Today is the first day that Charlie takes over as NCAA president. I think we will see pretty soon which direction this whole NIL and NCAAs involvement will be going forward. Several articles but found this to be some key notes from presser.

If you were JH who would you hire as our next womens basketball coach? Any suggestions?

The head coach at UT-Tyler is in her second year. She was 19-9 last year and 21-4 this year. She was assistant at SFA for 5 years. Her name is Rebecca Alvidrez.

Whoever we hire, I hope they bring two or three good players with them.
