We can’t compete. We can’t win in anything. Athletically the whole university is a mess from the top down. In the grand scheme of things we will never have the money, facilities or resources to compete in D1 athletics. I agree dropping down would suck in having to play northwestern st and nicholls but at least we could compete. In the NIl world we are just over our skees. Monroe is dying along with the rest of NELA and it’s only going to get worse.
