MBB Last 6

We really need to finish 4-2 over the last 6 games. 3-3 would be okay but not ideal depending on other outcomes. I don't think we can beat either USM or the Cajuns but who knows. Maybe we can steal one especially the Thursday game against ULL. USA, Troy, and App St are huge games. We lead them a couple of game in the standings and really need to recover the previous losses to USA and Troy. stAte could be a huge game depending on how the rest of the games play out.

To be honest, I don't think any of us expected or even hoped to be able to make a post like this toward the end of the season. Therefore, regardless of what happens down the stretch.....I've been duly impressed by what this team has accomplished. Even if I express some frustrations going forward, just remember that it's in that moment and that moment only. LOL

What specific changes do you want to see?

In this case, I am asking specifically about Fant-Ewing. If it is to be gutted and rebuild, what do you want to see?
Personally, I really really really hate the round floor and always have. That's just not a basketball venue to me. I want to see fans very close to the action, not 5 feet above the floor, looking down at the action. Give the teams and media a little space but I want to see the seating moved all the way to the floor and completely encapsulating the court.

Personally, I love JMU's venue

4 home and 3 away
We should be favored in 4 of the games. Hopefully we win those and steal 1 (preferably ULL) to finish 12-6.

I still believe it's possible that this team could have a collapse due to a very shallow bench. That said, I'm starting to believe that it's not likely to happen.

Hartwell interview

Some quick hits from the interview - 22 minutes long
- coordination of giving efforts so the same people are not hit up over and over again by different sports and also by the university
- video boards, with emphasis on the Malone Stadium one
- working on gathering information but says transparency is a priority where it can be - that is he's not talking personnel and not giving candidate names for positions.
- he has not seen the strategic plan, but has asked for it
- I think he's obviously excited to be in Monroe and excited for the challenge(s) ahead.
