Good to move on. I take zero from Texas game except Troy will look like a JV compared to the Texas talent. Troy is struggling. They are not the Troy we are used to seeing year in and out. They look clunky for a lack of better words. Their fans are very pessimistic about the new coach.

Defensively they are 122nd in the country against the run giving up 236 yards a game on the ground. 106th in the country in total offense. This screams our type of game. Run the damn ball. Control the clock and game.

In order to pay for players, the University of Tennessee is going to be tacking on a "Talent Fee" to their ticket prices. The revenue generated will go towards acquiring and paying for talent.

I feel ULM should do this starting in 2025-2026. By tacking on an extra $1.00 to the ticket price, that $1.00 could generate at least $70,000.00 a year for football to be able to pay some players. That could acquire some talent for us. Additionally, the same can be done for other sports. For example, if basketball would tack on $2.00 for home tickets, using last year's attendance numbers, a total of $32,000.00 would be generated to pay players. We could definitely find a good player or two for $15,000.00 a player. Thoughts...

Not sure how many bettors on the board. But i always keep power ratings for every college football team for betting purposes. Nice way A to pick some winners but B to see where you stand against other teams in the country. Here is preseason vs now where i have everyone standing on power ratings. For reference i have Georgia as top rated at a 101. Kent St at 44. So on neutral field Georgia would be a 57 point favorite. Thought it was great time to bring up ULM has been one of the bigger movers while Troy has dropped almost a Touchdown in power ratings in 4 weeks.

A mess just doesn't do it justice - they are a mess and we can all only hope the train wreck continues through November when ULM travels over for a late non-conference game.

They’re beating the piss out of UNC right now. Based on some of the stuff I’d seen from them, I thought they’d taken a step back and we could maybe pull a surprise but not feeling great about that now. They’re looking like the team to beat in the east (again).

The Women's Soccer team started conference play with a 1-0 victory over Troy yesterday

According to ESPN Radio Hosts in Jackson, MS, one of ULM's defensive coaches was caught on mike talking s*** about Arch Manning citing something about him only playing at a 2A school and that several of his players had faced and beaten him in HS. I thought that was kinda odd and self inflicting. BTW Arch will definitely make his first start. 🙄
