In order to pay for players, the University of Tennessee is going to be tacking on a "Talent Fee" to their ticket prices. The revenue generated will go towards acquiring and paying for talent.
I feel ULM should do this starting in 2025-2026. By tacking on an extra $1.00 to the ticket price, that $1.00 could generate at least $70,000.00 a year for football to be able to pay some players. That could acquire some talent for us. Additionally, the same can be done for other sports. For example, if basketball would tack on $2.00 for home tickets, using last year's attendance numbers, a total of $32,000.00 would be generated to pay players. We could definitely find a good player or two for $15,000.00 a player. Thoughts...
