Ok. Been in touch with Vincent. I asked him what he needed based off that Warhawk Excellence meeting. Someone had paid for the rehab sleeves. Needed 2 PS5s for the player's lounge. I bought those.

What they are needing is 4 weight racks. He is getting with S&C coach and will let me know specs, price, where to buy, etc. I told him I would share with the board. Now, I know most of us are done with the "give us money" but we are willing to pony up if we know specifically what is to be bought and for how much. Want to gage interest and see what we maybe able to do, even if we can only get a couple. I know we were able to step up and get chairs for VB. Surely we can do something that will have a tangible impact on the student athletes.

Dental Prospects hockey league has announced the return of the Monroe Moccasins. They will play in the civic center for the upcoming 24-25 season.

Loved the Mocs the 1st time around and gave us broke college students something to do. Not excited about the lack of regional games, with Baton Rouge being the closest team in the league.

Was bored watching ULM Football on YouTube this morning from last season. By my count offensively we are replacing 9 of 11 starters from last year and defensively I have no clue. It really got me thinking can we be worse than last year offensively? I really don’t know the answer but if we get worse we will go 0-12 this year. Just some thoughts this wonderful Sunday morning. I encourage you guys to really look at the turnover on the roster it is really crazy to see such a flip.

Just saw that Dusty and the folks from the funbelt podcast posted over-under win totals. Vegas has us pegged at 1.5. Hard to disagree with how they got there but woof.

I don't know how many of you keep up with the Vic Bubas Cup, the Sun Belt's annual award for the top athletic program. Texas State won the Cup this year. We came in 12th place with 89.5 points, ODU was 13th with 88.5 points, and Ga. St. was last with 74 points.

I realize coming in 12th place is nothing to get excited about, but we are slowly getting better as an overall program. Last year we were 13th with a total of 77 points.

If you go back to the 2020-2021 season we were dead last. We had 44.5 points, Little Rock had 55.5 points. We have 16 sports, Little Rock only had 13 sports and they still beat us by 11 points.

Random late night thought. It's been a couple years since we have changed over to a heavier emphasis on the warhawk airplane branding and we haven't had a single plane flyover. I don't know what a budget would look like for flyovers but I feel like we gotta start at least with military appreciation games.

the future is picking up for the Warhawks with big non-conference news

I’m not sure why ULM is so averse to money but I was in town today and wanted to buy some stuff at the bookstore but they closed at 3. I showed up at 3:15. The hours on the website said they were open til 5. Guess I can try again tomorrow. Went to the athletic department to get their donation info to see if anything changed but they were out of the sign-up pamphlets. To her credit, the person behind the desk did email it to me and I’m looking at what tier to move to. Still just made me laugh. I’m trying to give the school money but I’m jumping through the hoops to do it lol
