Line opens with Tex State favorite-7.5 Thoughts? Is this one of the more likely winnables going forward?

We have started the game going 0-15 from the field. We also have 5 turnovers, with plenty of time left in the 1st half. One of the game announcers mentioned he couldn't ever recall seeing a team start a game going 0-15 from the field.

I know it’s LSU but my God we are awful. Richard needs to be like Dennis Allen, sitting at home watching real basketball…another 7-23 season on the horizon…..is there a male Bilderback out there for us?

I'm not a soccer fan but I watched a lot of the #8 seed ULM versus the #1 James Madison game and the Warhawks left everything on the field while losing in penalty kicks 4-3. The game was scoreless through 90 minutes of regulation, scoreless through two 10-minute overtimes, and had to go into extra penalty kicks to decide it. ULM and JMU were the two highest scoring teams in the SBC during the season!

Most of ULM's team is underclassmen. The goalie, Jennifer Handy, is a freshman from England and did a great job defending the net. In the first overtime she blocked a shot while falling to the ground, got up and spun around to block a follow shot. Anyway, I just wanted to mention it. The girls did good, had a great season, and I look for better next year.

Opened as 9 point dogs. This will be tough after Marshall is rested. B2B long road trips is not good. We have to find a way to get them in second/third and long. They can run it. I think it might get worse before getting back home.

Detour from football for a sec. Men play Champion Christian Jr. High tonight. Women play Central Christian. Not sure we’ll be able to tell what we have this year with these matchups. Women will be ( extra ) fine. Richard will be in the running for coach of the year based on tonight! 🙄

Just listened to hawk talk and BV was pretty pissed about the amount of time off our conference opponents have between games when playing us in this 4 game stretch. He said that while he doesn’t know who ok’d it, that wouldn’t be the case going forward and they were gonna fight for their players to make sure it doesn’t happen again. That made me wonder just how much say do the schools have in coming up with the conference schedule? Can the AD lobby for changes with the conference office?

Alrighty. The line is out and right around what i thought. We are just over a touchdown dogs. +7.5. We have to get this QB out of rhythm early. They are 75th in country yards per rush defense. We should be able to keep the sticks moving on offense. Same recipe that got us here. Run the ball. Keep a good Qb contained and rattle early. I say we get the lead early and keep grinding on them.

Any truth to the rumors? Pretty sure this isn't what he signed up for

A few things I noticed about the two deep-

1- it looks like Fisher is back this week at least he is listed as the starter.

2- I like the fact that our starters are consistent. With Bowden it was hard to really buy into a lot of the players because it felt like the starters especially on defense were changing every week.

I know we’ve had some injuries. Is Fisher done for the year?

Seems like the sunbelt is a lot closer from top to bottom than most people think. Texas state just got beat by old dominion
