We opened as favs at -10 and immediately bought down to -6.5. Shocking because USM is on the struggle bus from a program standpoint. This might be a must win for Coach Hall to make it to next week. They had a bye week before ULL and still just mustered just 13 points. Looks like they gave great effort but lost. This may be a deflated team. If we bring our intensity and 134 mentality we take this one.

I had to leave Florida due to Milton! I pray my place, town, friends and neighbors come out OK on the back end of this storm. Good news however is that the wife has agreed to let me travel to Monroe for the game. I’m at daughters in Alabama about six hours away. I’ll come Friday. For this I’m very excited!
What’s the vibe around Monroe? Do you think the crowd will increase. Are the people finally getting behind the team? I know it’s Homecoming.

I do not believe that there is a single team on our schedule that we cannot beat. I'm not saying we're going to run the table but there's not a game on our schedule that I'm going to chalk up as a loss going into it and that includes Auburn

Never thought I'd see this but we are actually getting some love on Tech's BBB Board with congrats. One of the posters commented on how good our defense is.

Lets get the ball rolling. Vegas makes us close to 16 point dogs. JMU is rolling. They have a quick turnaround next week for what most would consider a bigger game for them. They play Coastal on Thursday night. Not saying they overlook us but with that game looming and ghosts of Malone Stadium for visitors, i think we can keep this close. Control the clock and win the turnover battle

ULM has not reached bowl eligibility since 2018, but Vincent has the postseason well within reach.

Dusty, obviously the flooding in Boone and numerous other areas is absolutely heartbreaking and devastating. On top of that, FEMA is reportedly out of money according to the US Administration's incompetence in mine and many others' opinions. Of course football is a blip on the radar for them right now and they have already had to cancel one game. Do you have any idea how will they be juggling the rest of their season in light of this devastation?

App State is part of our Sun Belt Family so we all need to be praying for them and everyone affected by this mess.

Just tried to go online to buy tickets for the JMU game and they are no longer available. That's BS

The ULM basketball prep band has asked us for help. They would like us to raise funds for T Shirts for the season. They need about 40.
I set up a go fund me account. They estimate that they need $600.00.

Texas State received an invitation to join the Mountain West Conference yesterday. Most posters on the Sun Belt board think Texas State will leave for either the Mountain West, AAC, or Pac12.

The big question is who does the Sun Belt replace Texas State with. It look like Western Kentucky or La. Tech are the front runners.

How does everyone feel about Tech joining the conference?
