Anyone hearing anything about commits, transfer guys, or who were recruiting? Heard on the Warhawk Authority podcast there’s already one commit but don’t know who or where they’re from.

Also did the players who committed under Bowden have their scholarships released or are we still honoring them? The two brothers who committed together and the LB from their school seemed to be pretty good recruits, were they retained?

Lot of smoke out of NOLA that Sumerall is about to land there since they lost their coach to Houston.

Hopefully will step Troy back a little on the field. There are a lot of great coaches in the Sunbelt right now.

Looks like the staff is coming together and the first weekend of recruiting is set for NEXT weekend with 18-25 expected. Working on the additional details, but this is exciting and a sign of the job this staff is already doing on flipping the roster.

Im sure we will have multiple threads for different topics on Coach Vincent. Wanted just a simple check of the room. If you had to put a number on this hire for ULM. Not to go into what or why….. How do you rate this hire for us. 0-10 scale

When it inevitably goes south this year Richard has to get the axe right? I can’t imagine Hartwell sitting through another disaster like last year. Seriously Richard has to be the most under achieving head coach in mens hoops . Dude has better job security than Nick Saban and I’ve never understood the love fest for him. 3/14 winning seasons…….

We've got our coach and he will be assembling his staff and recruiting. What's next on the agenda that we feel Hartwell needs to be addressing?

My personal opinion is that we MUST see rendering for the Fant-Ewing renovations and the strategic plan. That stuff is WAY past due. I really want to start giving again but there is no way in hell I am until I know what the plan is for ULM Athletics moving forward.

Chandler Rogers has hit the portal. Looking for his 5th school in 6 years.

Portal and NIL are killing college football and teams. As for Rogers, why? You stand a chance of going to a bigger school and getting beat out because they all are bringing in major talent at QB. My guess, watching the posts from his dad, is that daddy is saying "you are better than these scrubs...you should be playing for one of the big teams."

I know some schools will try luring these kids back but I would be vindictive. You hit the portal then you lose access to the weight room, the team table and nutrition support. Gone are the tutors and any other academic support. Shut them out completely. I know it isn't going to happen but if schools did that maybe these kids would think twice.

We have a rare day/night doubleheader today with Champion Christian. I say we win both games by 85 points.

Saw that Josh Pederson has been activated for tonight's game against the Bengals. Game to be shown on ABC/ESPN at 7:15 pm.

Josh will be #87. Hope he gets to play a bit.

Bryant and his agent are in in Monroe for on-site interviews; presumably with Dr Berry and Graves plus to meet Fobbs and other staff.

This should be the first of at least 2 in person interviews but can’t confirm the 2nd.

Heard back from a source that Hartwell is on the road interviewing….a lot of people.

Supposedly- I haven’t seen them, but supposedly out there - Rebowe, Selfo, and any other FCS coach is out - next HC will not be from those ranks- at least as of now.

Another name that was Tweeted/X’d was Mark Hudspeth - not the guy either.

I’ll keep plugging along and seeing where/what I can find.

So an X/Twitter account that just started today sent me a DM that Tim Rebowe was the leading candidate for the opening and was expected to be named HC soon. No idea if that's true, I like Rebowe and he's been able to have some success in the Southland at Nicholls, but that's not the young up and comer that's hungry to grind that Hartwell said he was looking for.

Source told me that that was the message Bryant Vincent sent regarding attending an interview with ULM personnel. Who all was in the meeting, unknown, but this looks to be the first confirmed interview to have happened.
