I know the fact that we are on here speaks to our support for our university. Dusty, please remove if not allowed, but I did just want to make a quick plug of some of the things we are trying to do over at the Alumni Association to drive engagement and provide value to our supporters whether you graduated from ULM or if you're just a supporter that didn't finish or graduated elsewhere (Alumni by choice).

As you know, we do sponsor a tailgate each week that has free food and drinks for members (and $10 for others). There are countless other events as well and we are looking to try and recreate the tailgate theme for some other fall and spring sports as well to try to cater to all of the fans on our campus as well as socials/"pregames" for non-sporting events to extend our benefits to all of our alumni. The membership is only $35 single / $50 couple for the year and all goes to supporting the student transition from student to alumni (and a connection of alumni to supporter) as well as supporting the alumni experience of our university. One of the most recent examples of this change was the outlining of the new sports ribbon-cuttings for soccer, baseball, and softball that were included in the monthly newsletter. We are working to be the source of the "good news" that is happening on campus that 1. we all want to know about and 2. that we all want to be able to brag about and share with some of our less engaged alumni or some of the snobby folks from down the interstate.
This week is our Phone-a-Thon; so, you may receive a call as well, but I did want to reach out and share the best way to sign up to reach out to this loyal group of folks.
We all have one mission...supporting, celebrating, and evangelizing the success of our university on both sides of the bayou!
