And it's okay to feel happy! I've seen a lot of posts recently focusing on the doom and gloom of ULM athletics. Everyone in here, whether you're ex-athlete or alumni, are passionate fans. We tend to be critical and care a lot about our passions, which isn't a bad thing! It means we genuinely care! But at times, it feels like a chore sifting through the same old doom and gloom in here, which I get it, has been the state of athletics in recent years.
However, there are positives we can also focus on as fans! We have a football team that seems primed for a bowl season, a student fee that actually passed, new men's basketball coach to breathe new life into the program and a softball team that is undefeated at home.
I'm not saying be positive no matter what, but to me it seems like a good time to be a ULM fan.
