No real surprise in its release, ULM picked last in the West - App St/Texas St the favorites in the east/west.

Not surprised by the lack of all conference selections, not much returns from last year's squad and with so many new players - no one has shined in the SBC.

Here's the doom and gloom now - the 16 points, the lowest point total since the inaugural poll in 2001. In that poll, ULM picked up just 11 points in the coach's poll and 12 in the SID poll. This again though is due to how the team performed last year. This team will be better, but it may take a a few weeks to get the team to gel and be together. The advantage through the first 2 weeks though is the lack of film or knowledge on what ULM will do on either side of the ball. The bottom has happened and the rise is coming.

The highly talented True Freshman ended his first season at ULM hitting .332 with 10 HRs, 40 RBIs and 18 SBs. Well, according to some things I have seen, it appears ULM is going to lose this kid. He has entered the Transfer Portal. I am sure Coach Fed is devastated over this. Maybe effort needs to be made to see what Coach Fed needs from an NIL standpoint.

ULM has a very successful 2024 softball season and we only get two players on the All-Louisiana team. Both positions are honorable mentions....Outfield: Lourdes Bacon, ULM; Meagan Brown, ULM

LSU and Lafayette, as well as Southeastern Louisiana, dominates the selections which is not surprising.

What do we do now

• keep it going - keep building

• Shoulder sleeves for recoup
• Recovery for more practice
• 4 massage guns

Progress is great but we are just now catching up

We can win here and consistently if we recruit the right kids

Reaching out to former players and reaching out to more people in the community

I don’t how many games we will win but it’s going to be a fun team to watch.

The program going will ignite the town.

It’s all the town and the players. We want to do what we have never done - win a bowl game, win a championship.

We won the series 12-4 & 6-1 with game 3 tomorrow. We've also jumped Marshall into the 12 spot in the standings. Not that it really matters since only the Top 10 go to the tournament and we've got zero shot a jumping 2 more spots.

Finally got my "invoice" for tailgate spot and season tickets (moved so it took a little longer). Let me preface it by saying that last year they raised the minimum donation to get a tailgate spot to $900 annually and the spot cost $300 ($1200 total). Looking at my invoice, it listed the rental as $900 and the donation as $500. I called, confused, thinking that someone failed to proof read and reversed the numbers. I think everyone can understand that...this is ULM after all. Nope. They raised the price of the tailgate spot to $900. They dropped the minimum donation to $500. "But Molly, I already donate $900. Does that count towards the total of $1400?" No, I still have to pay $900 for the spot. Guess what John is doing today! I will pay $900 for the spot buy my annual donation will be dropped to $500. Because my 2 chairbacks cost more than 4 GA season tickets, I only have to get those 2 and total I will pay $50 more this year.

What kills me is that I have to call to ask what in the hell is going on. It took me a good 5 minutes with her on the phone to actually figure out what they are doing. So typical of ULM to send this crap out with no explanation. I wonder how many spots they won't sell because people will be looking at this and say $600 more for the tailgate spot isn't worth it. How many more are going to do what I am doing and lower their donation?
