Bilderback talks Warhawk WBB

She's a great interview and really excited about being here. I really feel that the roster overhaul, if they can stay healthy since I think they are thin on the bench, are a top-5 team in the league. Hartwell did a great job of selling her on the vision of the program and has a plan outlined. This is going to be fun to watch this program rise up.

Womens Basketball

I was looking at Missy's twitter account this week. She talked about the team and how super fun its been getting to know these amazing people. In some of the pictures is Emma Merriweather, which tells me she has another year of eligibility. Just a reminder to everyone she was third team all conference plus the defensive player of the year.

Also, BDW signed four signees in the early signing period. Three of these four are no longer coming to ULM. I love the idea of Missy signing three of her type players instead of being stuck with BDW recruits.

I heard we still have two or three more scholarships to fill.

With Merriweather coming back and the players we have signed, I think we will be in the top five in the conference next year.

Are our days in the SBC numbered?

I want honest opinions on this instead of " we just need to hire better" BS. We aren't competitive in ANYTHING. Football can't ever get bowl eligible and baseball is a joke. MBB is LOL with REE-CHARD at the helm. How long until the league realizes we just aren't worth dragging along anymore? IMO it's a matter of a few short years until we are in the southland or WAC. Maybe it's best for the university so we can actually be competitive.

Helmet Playoffs on Twitter

@CFBHome is having a helmet design playoff on their Twitter account and ULM (#15 seed) has been matched up against Wake Forest (#2 seed). A lot of WF fans have already voted.
(Side Note: There's currently a large discussion going on about college loyalty and ULL's use of Louisiana in their branding which was not started by any ULM fans. It's been interesting.)
