I'm not one to post rumors, but I think this one would appease the masses -
Supposedly the ULM coaching staff had a meeting prior to the Neville team's departure for New Orleans and the state championships with Head Coach Mickey McCarty and standout Kavontae Turpin. While he's in the backyard of ULM, his academics and the elevated standards for student-athletes has kept him off the recruiting radar.
This means one of the following - 1.) exceptions to the standards have finally been released by Bruno. Something that was supposed to happen time and time again, but never developed. 2.) Turpin finally got a high enough ACT score that he is "eligible" for ULM to look at.
In either case, the Warhawks would get a big play maker if he is able to remain home for college.
