ULM overcame offensive woes to snap their 2 game skid on Thursday night, defeating Troy 58-55 in overtime. The game was not pretty, but still a win and keeps the Warhawks in at least a tie for 2nd place. If the season ended today, that would put the Warhawks in the semi-finals with a double-bye.
This weekend is a home contest, with the Jaguars of South Alabama coming to town. The Jags are 5-5 in conference action and this will be a big challenge for ULM, as they rolled back into Monroe at 5am Friday morning, and will tip off on Saturday at about 4pm - just after the women's game.
