We are absolutely NOT in a position to take anyone lightly, so do not misinterpret this as that. Just looking at a few numbers for the Idaho Vandals. They really have not vandalized anybody the last 5 years on the road. Coming into this week they are a combined 3-32 on the road for the last 5 years. In that time (2011 to current) they have not won more than 2 games in a season. They already have 2 wins this season. As a team they have thrown 3 TD's and 4 INT's compared to our 7 TD's and 4 Int's. They have rushed for 5 TD's compared to our 4 TD's. They have 5 INT's (w/1 pick 6) and 2 Fumble recoveries compared to our 1 INT and 3 Fumble recoveries. They have 4 sacks to our 8 sacks. I cannot find how many sacks they have given up at this time (at school and some sites blocked). They have passed for a total of 940 yards in 5 games compared to our 902 yards in 4 games. They have rushed for 629 yards on 177 attempts for a 3.6ypc average compared to 582 yards on 136 attempts for a 4.3 average. I am not a big believer in stats dictating the outcome of a game, especially early in the season and playing $ games, but in this case I do believe that the stats tell us that we should win this game. They have faced Washington and pass happy Washington State that likes to rack up yards, but they also give up a lot of yards. Overall, I think we win by double digits. Not necessarily a blowout, but a solid W. Pardon my bloviating.
