So, Scotty Mac has talked about how we will get a "new and improved" Grove and it will be so much better for our game day experience. He has also touted that the bids are in and it will be a 60 day build.
It is June 8. Kick off is August 31. Take out July 4, because they won't be working that day. Not including today and tomorrow because they aren't starting work over this weekend. That leaves 78 days until Grambling. What it really leaves is 56 business days (working M-F). If they work 6 days a week (M-Sa), you have 67 days. There has been no word when work will start. There has been no word if a contract has even been awarded. We are inside the 60 day window (if you go 5 days a week) and will be inside the 60 day window a week from Tuesday if you go with a 6 day work week.
Not sure how many of you on here have Grove spots or share spots, but we are about to be without a completed project heading into a 6 home game season. We were promised more but getting less. An extra $100 for the spot yet water stations instead of water at every spot. Two parking passes instead of 4. And now, they haven't even begun work and quickly running out of time.
