Our first Quarterback Club luncheon was today. We had a really good turnout, and will need more tables next meeting. Coach V spoke, then Kubik, Collins, and Powledge. Coach V went over why Evans was starting, but both QB will see action in 1st half. Plays Sutton and Evans spoke briefly, followed by some color from former player and coach, Tag Rome. Tag highlighted we need to combat negativity toward ULM, and need to promote all the positive things that are taking place. Coach Lambert also said a few works, mentioning this is the best staff he has ever been associated in his 40 years of coaching. There were some PowerPoint presentations of the Memphis depth chart, and a few highlights on previous game film.
The next meeting in Sept 13, and the former player speaker will be Coach Al Miller. I encourage everyone who is able to join. $300 is the annual membership , and it include a QB Club polo and hat.
