With the now open running backs position, the question is who will fill the opening. Here's a few possible candidates to mull over -
Tucker Waugh - currently the RB and recruiting coordinator at Army. He's the brother of current assistant Adam Waugh and coaches with Berry at Illinois State, helping the Redbirds to the FCS semifinals in 1999.
Matt Clark - OL/recruiting coordinator at Nicholls. Was an offensive GA under Berry at ULM in 2010 - 11. He has not yet been announced as being retained under new Head Coach Tim Rebowe.
Chuck Hepola - special teams and running back coach at Nicholls State. He was not announced as a retained coach under Rebowe. Hepola was director of football operations in 2008-09 under former Head Coach Charlie Weatherbie.
Bill Blankenship - dismissed as Head Coach at Tulsa. Coached running backs before moving to head position.
