With the way it appears conference realignment is shaking out, there is no reason ULM should become the top FBS team in North Louisiana. Tech will most likely either be independent or in a conference with the likes of NMSU, Tarleton St, Sam Houston, McNeese, Jacksonville St., UTEP, FIU, etc. We may even cherry pick their best players as transfers if we want them.
