Mike Lucas, former head coach at Southeastern La and most recently DC at Northwestern St has joined the Louisiana-Lafayette staff. His exact role has not yet been determined. Lucas was able to pull some nationally ranked talent and ranked FCS recruiting classes, although that recruiting success didn't lead to success with the Lions and his removal.
