So far, we have 2 JUCO commitments--Jeremy Hunt (QB) and Jevin Frett (WR). Has anyone heard whether Maljon Joor (OL) and Fred Smith, Jr (CB) will re-commit to ULM. If so, that makes 4 JUCOS. DJ Travis (CB) will make the count 5 JUCOS.
I hope we can count these 5 JUCO commitments toward the 2019 counts of 25 and 85. How many players left the team, graduated, and are expected to leave prior to Spring Semester 2020? I believe we will have no problem with the 25 yearly signee limit, but not sure about the 85 roster count. However, 5 is the maximum number of JUCOS we can sign without 1 or more exceeding 5 being counted toward 2020.
