Jay Hopson, a candidate for the ULM head football coach position, has been hired to be the new head coach at Southern Miss. For one, it shows that we had some quality candidates/applicants for the job. Two, now we can see what we possibly could have had as a head coach by watching how he closes on recruiting, assembles a staff and prepares for games.
