ULM had the 6th best defense scoring and yards defense in SBC. Second in the SBC in sacks with 34. Most SBC teams also only play on P5 game. The offense didn’t help the defense out that much this year. Ole Miss massacred the defense.
So is the defense fixed ?

IMO I think the defense is fixed as far as being middle of the pack SBC defense. I still think when we have bad match ups we’ll get hammered against Some P5. We gave up 404 and 450 to the two top offenses in the SBC.
I think if the offense held up its side of the ball defense would have been better. We have a lot of players returning so I think defense statistically should be better IF offense improves.
