First of all, will there ever be a ULM bowl win discussion in my lifetime?
Let me be clear...I'm not trying to be Negative Nancy but the issue needs serious addressing.
Is this whole FBS thing in Funroe even worth the agony of defeat year in and year out?.....and why did Swearingen...who was an absolute disaster as a president push for us to move to what is now FBS?
I honestly believe that financially...G5 and FCS aren't THAT far apart. We could still play P5 and FBS teams for money yet have a realistic opportunity (with the limited talent we can actually lure to Monroe) to actually play for something meaningful on a more fair playing field at season's end.
Face it...ULM hits lightening in a bottle at the FBS level once in a blue moon but let's be realistic here...ULM has absolutely no reason being a member in FBS due to incompetent leadership, lack of money and quality of facilities needed to have a remote chance to be competitive at the FBS Level.
