Looked at the Sun Belt standings and were sitting in last place tied with ULL at 2-7. We’ve had a few games that we’ve lost right at the end and others we’ve just been blown out. There’s still some time to move up in the standings before conference tournament, but this team seems lost to me. Getting out rebounded every game with all that increase of size, not a good shooting team, and because of that Ertel feels extra pressure. We have a lot of dribbling on offense and we don’t seem to draw fouls, which tells me we’re not working the ball inside.
not sure if it’s going to get better. If a couple of those heartbreaker losses had been wins, wed obviously be in better position but I think team confidence is not good.
